Scope of my services
I the assessor will conduct Domestic Energy Assessments (DEAs) and issue Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for domestic properties in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
Appointment and Access
You or your authorised representative shall provide access to the property for assessment at the time and on the date confirmed above. I shall need access to all elevations of the property, all rooms (including any basements) and accessible loft spaces.
Failure to grant access will result in my not being able to complete my assessment of your property and will incur an aborted assessment fee.
Accuracy and Liability
While I always aim for accuracy, the outcome of the assessment and recommendations provided in the EPC are based on data available to me during the assessment and do not guarantee future energy performance. I hold no liability for any changes in property condition or energy efficiency after the assessment is completed.
Payment Terms
My fee for the assessment of your property and lodgement of the EPC shall be agreed upon before confirmation of the assessment appointment and is payable upon completion of the assessment.
EPC for a property less than 100 sq meters – £95.00 inc VAT
EPC for a property 100 sq meters or more – £145.00 inc VAT
Cancelation fee – £35 inc VAT
Aborted assessment fee – £65 inc VAT
Confidentiality
All information I obtain during the assessment will be treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose of generating the EPC. In the event that I am asked to disclose details of the assessment to a third party, I will only disclose the requested details with your explicit consent or as required by law.
Conflict of Interest
If I am aware of any conflict of interest arising from my creating of an EPC for your property, I shall notify you of this in writing. If you know of any reason why there may be a conflict of interest, it is your responsibility to notify me in writing. In the event of a conflict of interest, I will offer you the option for me to refer the assessment to another Domestic Energy Assessor or you may choose another Domestic Energy Assessor at your discretion.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Requests to cancel or reschedule our appointment must be communicated to me at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee.
Compliance with Regulations
I the Domestic Energy Assessor will conduct assessments in compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards governing energy performance certification for domestic properties.

Acceptance
By confirming my visit to your property to carry out a DEA, you acknowledge having read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
